SilviaRomanelli

Silvia graduated in fashion design, leather goods option, at the Università Luav di Venezia. She has been working for five years as a costume designer, set designer, textile artist and art director. After working as an assistant for several artists exhibiting textile projects at the Venice Biennale, in 2013 she moved to Paris, where she worked as a stylist for various haute couture brands. Disappointed by this industry and having discovered live performance and cinema, she left the fashion world a few years later to set up her own design studio "OFFICINA".
In 2022, her costume and set designs can be seen at the Théâtre du Châtelet with the choreographer Eric Minh Cuong Castaing and his show "PARC", at the Théâtre de Lucerne (CH) with the dance pieces "Reef" by Marion Zurbach and "Ay, Captain" by Tom Weinberger, at the Grütli in Geneva with the dance pieces "Biche" by Marion Zurbach and "Mer Plastique" by choreographer Tidiani N'Diaye and in the film "BIOPIC (or Charles Geneviève Louise Auguste André Timothée)" by artist Madison Bycroft, at the Samstag Museum of Art in Adelaide.
