Flipper

"She swam into my arms, looked me straight in the eyes, took one last breath...and she could not take another one. Then it was over, I let her body sink to the bottom of the pool." Rick O'Barry

Thus Rick O'Barry tells the story of Kathy's suicide, the female dolphin, star of the series Flipper. Credible testimony or guilt? The piece FLIPPER attempts to understand how the dolphin could have committed such an act.

To unravel the threads of this intrigue, Kathy and her trainer are accompanied by a moderator who presents their story. Through a reconstruction of key episodes in Kathy's life, the audience becomes the witness of a fictitious investigation and the unacknowledged ambitions of its characters.

Flipper was awarded "Piece of the season 2017/18" by Die Voyeure Bern
