"Of Humans and other Artifacts" is a theatrical dance piece for five dancers accompanied by a live set. The piece takes a look at the relationship humans perpetuate with their creations, giving space to the topic, to resonate in its fears and fascinations. The piece is divided in four tableaux, which introduce different physical approaches to a functional, affective and magical human self-identification through rituals and imitation games. Each tableau develops through the expression of unusual characters, such as a Chinese mythology goddess, a mermaid, oversized chorus children, mariachis, cosmonauts and more.
